The Ben Eater's 8-bit computer is a hobbyist project which is in my opinion the best way to learn how computers work. The original features 16 byte RAM, a 7 segment display, and a 2 operation ALU. This modified version features 192 byte ROM, 60 byte RAM, a 32 operation MCU-powered ALU, a 7 segment display, a stack pointer, and 3 I/O ports. The LCD is driven in 8-bit mode.
